Heat’s monthly report: all the best things to do in March

Whether you’re celebrating a special occasion or just looking for something fun to do, there’s plenty of fun to be had in March.

Not only is Mother’s Day on 30 March, but it’s also International Women’s Day on Sunday 8 March and there’s loads of amazing events on to celebrate both.

Elsewhere, it’s Margarita Month, so we’ll definitely be celebrating with a few cocktails.

Savage Garden’s Cocktails & Waffles Brunch

It’s no secret that we love a bottomless brunch and Savage Garden’s new offering of cocktails and waffles sounds right up our street. Set on its rooftoop terrace, which includes stunning views of London Bridge and The Shard, the brunch features a menu which includes sweet and savoury waffle creations, indulgent brunch burgers and expertly crafted cocktails. Savoury highlights include the Honey Glazed Chicken & Waffle Stack and Wild Savage Striploin Steak Waffle, while those with a sweet tooth can tuck into offerings like the Caribbean Style Rum Banana Stack and the Cheesecake Drip Waffle. Celebrate Margarita Month at STK

There’s lots to celebrate in March like Mother’s Day and International Women’s Day, but you might not know that it’s also Margarita Month. We’ll be marking the occasion at STK, who have teamed up with Patrón Tequila to collaborate on a limited edition Margarita menu. Guests can choose from the Perfect Margarita, Spiced Mango Margarita and Elderflower Margarita, all of which sound divine – and when paired with STK’s delicious menu, sleek interiors and high energy atmosphere led by a DJ, it makes the perfect setting for after work drinks, date nights or celebratory dinners. International Women’s Day Takeover at KERB

This International Women’s Day, KERB is celebrating the women shaping London’s food scene with a special takeover at its brand-new Saturday market, KERB Francis Road in Leyton. Firmly focused on female founders, entrepreneurs and creatives, the line-up of street food on offer includes Banzai Kitchen, Hanoi Cà Phê, Utopia Food, Mexclub and Deeney’s. There will also be a selection of women-owned produce and lifestyle businesses including Liv’s Baked Goodies and Korean Pantry.
